It sounds great and seems to be well made. The headphone jack is also a huge plus and sounds great. I play mine through a Marshall 1922 2x12 cab and i can't get the volume past 3 o'clock without potentially disturbing the neighbours. Great for a practice amp.

You could probably get an an increase in loudness by using an efficient cab containing speakers like Celestine G12 Vintage 30s or similar if required. Emulated Speaker /Headphone Output; 8 Ohm speaker output Great for someone in a dorm or apartment that wants true tube sound without disturbing the neighbors. Add in Reverb, Emulated Speaker/Headphone output, MP3 / Line Input, plus an 8 Ohm speaker output and you have everything you need for recording or practicing. However, if you're going to run a distortion pedal through it, it's somewhat hard to get a lot of volume from it, since you have to have the gain as low as possible almost, or the sound quality just gets muddy.

Clean sounds pretty good, but there is low headroom. Low watt all tube tone perfect for home.

If I had to admit what I like least about this amp, it's the reverb.

However, I can't imagine putting it outside and expecting the whole neighborhood to hear it, for example. The patent-applied-for ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) circuit gives you infinite variation, taking you from USA to UK tone, and anywhere in between.

All the way to the left, you get your Master of Puppets tone, and at 1 o'clock, I got what I believed to be a good Megadeth tone. I get a bigger sound when recording if I use an amp emulator like AmpKit with Sound Siphon. Please try again. If you like the sound you get from an old marshall; where you are getting some compression going on and just a hint of break up, but you want it at acoustic guitar type levels (and above), this amp is perfect. A proper line level output would have been better, bt overall it's not a bad compromise. The amp produces fantastic tones, but there are two main issues I have found with it. Overall, it's a great amp, but I imagine saving up an extra $100 and getting the HT-5H would be more worth it. Volume, Gain, and ISF Tone control; Overdrive switch There was a problem completing your request.
