Gift store prices are not outrageous.Its not big & it won't take you long to make your way through it but it's well maintained, they have a nice guided tour through the back building and the staff was extremely nice & well versed. While this museum is not the largest train museum I've been to, the exhibits and display trains are exquisite. First opened in 2001, the museum has seen attendance explode from 2,000 visitors the first year to now an average of 40,000 per year.
