Some holes were almost impossible to play because of torn up artificial turf. The course consists of five Par 3's, two Par 4's and two Par 5's and plays to a maximum distance of 2513 meters with a calculated course rating of 0 over 9 holes. Pool was OK but both spas not operating. 10 Hole Golf Course. Tennis court ripped up.Service was pretty average except for the bakery where I was served by a friendly staff member.Stayed here for two nights during family holiday along east coast of Tasmania. Two bed cabin was ok. Mini golf course (while great idea) was severely in need of a massive renovation. The bistro food was ok but relatively expensive. A single set of men's tees can make the course a challenge for less experienced players. I have fond memories of staying here as a child and enjoyed creating memories with my own family, even though it is not quite what it used to be. Room was great, full kitchen and lots of space. He even recognised that we were next door to where we were last time. That said room was great as was service. Aspect Tamar Valley Resort is perfectly located 15 minutes drive north of Launceston, and is ideally positioned to use as a base whilst exploring all that Northern Tasmania has to offer. Two bed cabin was ok. Mini golf course (while great idea) was severely in need of a massive renovation. Grindelwald is a lovely town just 15k north of Launceston in the Tamar Valley. The meeting venue is top rate and the food is incredible. At Grindelwald we are lucky to have the only 10-hole golf course in Northern Tasmania, a 10 hole course is a great chance to get outside and enjoy some exercise and fresh air without having to invest an entire morning or afternoon on the game. I was particularly taken by the cookies!

It's like being in the Swiss alps!I've stayed here several times on business and leisure. The location was fine and what we expected. There is a golf course, mini golf, canoes, paddle boats, tennis, a playground, a pirate ship, some very big jumping pillows, peddle go karts and mountain bikes.

Needs some maintenance. The things to do in Grindelwald Tasmania list is long. Tamar Valley Resort Golf Course is a semi-private golf course located in Grindelwald , Australia. The only thing I could complain about was that when I booked it said free WiFi but this isnt yet available in all cabins just main complex area. I’m sure it was a great place to stay (and I don’t mind the Swiss village kitsch) but the facilities are now quite outdated and in need of significant renovation. Putt putt was overpriced for a shabby run down course.
