When VCR's were the size of suitcases, records and cassettes were the only way to buy music, and the internet had yet to be invented. If not see if they can get it for you. I could probably recite every line word for word. Was this review helpful? We often discuss purchasing a copy, but haven't found it on VHS. All white people must leave." hahaha" as it's repeated in the movie is a classic known joke where I'm from and it was spray painted on the side of my all spraypainted car by my bro (teenage days)being and meaning the classic joke line from this movie. It's all tied in to the spirit that inhabits the light in the lighthouse. "No we're not zombies, we're loonies." As usual, he refuses to close the beaches. I say we fans of the movie must rally together and form a REAL fan club for it!!!! Another running gag is the lunatic character Ralph (Robert Donner), who tells everyone "You're doomed", instead becomes injured himself. The Hudson Brothers actually manage to work up a respectable comic energy. I don't think the movie ever got a theatrical release. When a pulp-fiction author (William Hudson) buys a lighthouse in the hopes of having an ideal place to be creative, his plans are dashed by the vengeful ghost of a woman scorned. It's one of those movies I discovered long ago on cable, thinking I was the only one who ever saw it. This is an absolutely fantastic movie!!! Thanks :) The kids have heard so much about it and how cleverly they use the horror films as a take off and cant get the full affect on our copy. The Movie [Blu-ray]
