Arcade sports games … The lack of arcade football games makes Legendary Eleven an interesting option, although it’s a little bit flawed.

For now, I’d say wait and see if any of these changes get implemented, but it definitely has potential. I like the aesthetics of this, and it’s been a while since I played an arcade football game.Meanwhile, I’ll dig up Super Soccer and International Superstar Soccer for the SNES.Bought it at launch and there is a fun game in there but the bugs are unacceptableParticularly the slide tackle bug which suddenly render you unable to defend any more. Legendary Eleven is an epic arcade football (soccer) game inspired by the golden age of football spanning the 70's to the 90's. It’s passable at best, but is off enough to not be worthwhile if you’re seeking out some good old-fashioned arcadey soccer on your Switch. Perhaps the devs should be as transparent in the Nintendo store.Anybody disappointed by this are in luck. The style falls into this category; as the game focuses on the heady days of the '80s, there are gangly players in impossible tight-fitting retro kits and heads topped off with perms; it all taps into the nostalgia for that time. It's a shame as there is some promise there but first impressions count and I'm not sure I will even bother with it anymore.Buggy software should be returnable for a full refund - perhaps then devs wouldn’t release unfinished games.Hopefully they fix the bugs.
