Slow traffic and partially blocked due to police incident on A322 at M3 J3 (Lightwater / Bagshot), congestion to A319 Bagshot Road / B311 Red Road (The Gordon’s School Roundabout).Bus routes in Camberley and Farnborough are also affected by the M3 incident.The incident is also causing added traffic and delays along A30 London Road.This has caused slow southbound traffic between J3 A322 (Lightwater / Bagshot) and J4 A331 / A331 Blackwater Valley Route (According to Highways England “the event is expected to be cleared between 10.30am and 10.45am.”It was added: “there are current delays of two hours against expected traffic.” Traffic is mounting along A3 northbound due to drivers diverting from the M3 due to the “police incident”.Queues are between A247 / Tythebarns Lane (Burntcommon) and M25 J10 (WisleyHighways England is advising road users to ‘allow extra time’ for their journey this morning.Road users heading to J3 from the Lightwater area intending to join the M3 eastbound should go westbound and turn at J4 due to a partial closure on the J3 roundabout.Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and may wish to consider alternative routes.Drivers are advised to take a “short diversion over J3 roundabout via entry and exit sliproads”Highways England is advising M3 road users to use ‘alternative routes’.There are severe delays on the M3 eastbound in Surrey, due to a Surrey Police led incident closing the carriageway within J3 (Lightwater).Traffic is being diverted up and over the junction via the exit and entry slip roads.Highways England warn drivers to “be aware” of “severe delays”.Traffic is backing up to J4 to Farnborough and queues are mounting up to nine miles.Drivers have been warned to use alternative routes.Queuing traffic along M3 taken from The Maultway, Camberley Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service have urged people to avoid the area.They said: "Long delays on the M3 North between J9 Winnall and J8 Popham after an accident involving an ambulance and a lorry.
