Spruce-Em-up-Jack trail is sweet (doubletrack), Gilsonite Trail is awesome (singletrack), Bull Mountain (doubletrack) and Trail Creek (doubletrack) are also good. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail. The road is an easy route with a few harder trails that branch off from it, however nothing too difficult. This 19.7-mile graded pass divides the Never Summer Wilderness Area and the Arapaho National Forest, ensuring the best views no matter where you look.

There is evidence of black bear, moose, elk and deer in the area and I saw three moose the last time I was in the area. But the trail is still closed. Long, winding forest road above Grand Lake.
