The service is fantastic and it is super clean. Great authentic food. Best fresh tasting Thai I've had in a long long time. Eat here as much as you can before they retire! My favorite dishes there is the pad thai, pad see ew, and of course the yellow curry! To be honest, I didn't know this place existed because of how tiny it is...and I am in Allston quite often. Preorder to.
The drunken noodles that I have had in the past were usually too mushy but Thai Place's was amazing.
Cant beat the low prices for such quality and good tasting food! !I am very unhappy with the service and food here. The prices are very reasonable and the service was decent. Best thai restaurant I have been to. They get big hugs from the owner. Delivery & Pickup Options - 187 reviews of Thai Place "This place has the best drunken noodles that I have ever had! How is this business handling reopening? This place looks nice enough to have a romantic dinner.
Great thai food, and local neighborhood favorite. Very quick service too, even though it was busy during lunch and looked like not too many people serving. We called ahead to have our order ready because we went on a lunch break from work. I have really enjoyed the lunch Phad Thai special, which comes with a soup or salad (delicious gingery/honey mustard dressing), and their amazing thin crab ragoons.I'm always on the hunt for good Thai food and was seriously impressed with Thai place! I have tried so many things here and each one is amazing in flavor. We checked in on the app "No Wait" (our first experience using it) and it told us to arrive 10 minutes after we checked in. It took forever. Never any cross contamination. The dish was inedible and I tossed it in garbage. The noodles were the perfect texture and had a bunch of yummy veggies mixed in too. Our atmosphere can be suited for family gatherings and also intimate date nights. Been coming here since the 90s & see it has a new owner (I'm heartbroken) the food was ok it's not EXACTLY the way it was in the 90s but pretty close I got the egg flower soup was yummy lots of egg & big mushrooms in it just like they've always done it their soup isn't like the heat lamp places either the pineapple chicken fried rice had potential it was tasty but dry they also don't put a couple pieces of shrimp on top anymore got the fresh chili chicken added broccoli & was good but didn't have much chicken & was not the way it had always been made :'( at least my large Thai iced tea was really good you can add boba if you want now I'll be back it's different now I'll have to get used to itFood is delicious and service was spectacular.
For any group size. Just recently went back and the Pad-See-Ew was on point! Value was great as well, large portions for less money than other places. I can't say much more than what anyone else has said. I heard the word free and they wouldn't…"This place has been a good place to go. We were armed with some good suggestions from fellow Yelpers. I had the Volcano soup with seafood. After a couple of years, I ordered for delivery and the quality and taste was crap. It was the grossest tofu I have EVER eaten! Life has come full circle. This wouldn't be my go to place if I'm back in the area and the price was far from worth the large portion of rice noodles with not much else. I drove by this place a few times on my way home from work, but never paid much attention to it because it's in an unappealing shopping center (Cypress Center).
